Format Sheets
Sheet metal is manufactured using different processes and thicknesses, ensuring that it can be adapted to a wide range of needs in boiler making, construction and machining. Depending on the finish and rolling process, it can be produced using cold or hot rolling, offering combinations that provide strength, uniformity and ease of working.
The usual manufacturing thicknesses are:
• Hot rolled: from 1.5 mm to 10 mm
• Pickled: from 1.5 mm to 6 mm (with the possibility of 8 or 10 mm on request)
• Cold rolled: from 0.6 mm to 3 mm
• Galvanised: from 0.6 mm to 4 mm
Thanks to the variety of formats and finishes available, sheet metal can be used in a wide range of industrial applications. Its most common uses include boiler making, construction and machining, although its versatility allows it to be integrated into numerous solutions where a solid, uniform and easy-to-process material is required.
