Forging is a plastic deformation forming process that is mainly applied to iron, although it can also be carried out with other metals and malleable materials. Through compression, striking and stamping forces, the material acquires the desired shape and properties.

Customer Service

The forging process consists of applying different compressive forces, followed by controlled hammering and final stamping, allowing the material to be moulded according to the project’s requirements. This technique not only modifies the geometry, but also improves the strength and mechanical characteristics of the final product.

At Hierros Mora Antón, we have an extensive catalogue of wrought iron pieces, which you can consult at any of our warehouses. We offer solutions for multiple decorative and structural applications.

One of the advantages of the forging process is that it does not generate chips, which means considerable material savings compared to other machining methods. This efficiency, combined with the wide variety of applications it allows, makes forging a widely used resource in the market.

Gracias a su versatilidad, la forja se emplea tanto en elementos ornamentales como en componentes funcionales que requieren solidez, durabilidad y una fabricación precisa.
